Homeless Update



El Dorado County is stepping up with services made available to our “Homeless and “At-Risk” population with a coordinated effort with the County and with Marshall medical. Yep, JSS will be there also.
      
 
Shandra Cane of Marshall Medical with her group of hospital volunteers will be going out with their “OnSite Health Services.” Going to our county Libraries and other locations where the homeless and the at-risk citizens of our county can congregate. They will be giving medical advice and do  minor testing along with medical suggestions.

Let’s talk about Covid-19 in your area of the county. In the Tahoe basin we have had 2396 infected persons. El Dorado Hills have had 1973 infected persons. Greater Placerville has had 1657 infected persons. These are our epicenters. With 51% of the infected are between 18-49 years old.
100 deaths in the county so far.

And you thought that the “older” persons were the greatest risk. The “older folks” follow safety measures. They stop at stop signs to be safe for themselves and for others. They wear masks to be safe for themselves and for others. They stay 6 ft apart to be safe for themselves and for others.
The County is now opening up with limited restrictions. Who will screw it all up by disregarding safety precautions? And backwards we go again ☹

I am SOOoooooo tired of my own cooking, and have had it with hamburgers of all types, and pizza of all types, I just want to go to a Chines restaurant for something different for a change. Friday my favorite Chinese Restaurant will open for indoor dining and Doris and I will be there!
