• To operate and act exclusively for charitable and educational purposes with the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”).
• Mission and goal: … Provide or support entities providing decent, safe, healthy, and sanitary shelter to disadvantaged households or individuals.
• To receive and administer assets exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
• To conduct any and all activities and exercise any and all such powers as are necessary to the achievement of the foregoing and in furtherance of the purposes of the Corporation.”

The JSS “niche” in providing for our community’s un- and underhoused is to travel the gathering places and encampments of the homeless and distribute the necessities of existence. Toilet paper, socks, tents for shelter, seasonal clothing, sanitary supplies, tooth brushes and tooth paste, etc… We work with other providers in transporting, building, and supervising shelters, and any place we might be helpful to the un-housed.
